9.00am: MORNING MEETING – Building momentum for the strike – planning for the day ahead

10.30am: Workshop on talking to sixth-formers about the White Paper

LUNCH: Fajitas for all!

1pm: Raymond Geuss on Freedom of Speech and  the University.

6pm: CUSU council EGM – voting to support the occupation

7pm: Marxist Discussion Group – A question of leadership  film screening

9pm: Life Drawing

Saturday 26th November: 
9.30 a.m. Breakfast free for all!
11 a.m. What is the White Paper? Academics including Dr. Priya Gopal explain proposed Higher Education Policy
3 p.m. CUSU Extraordinary General Meeting at New Museum Site. Come along and support educational activism!
5 p.m. Skype with other occupations
7 p.m. General Meeting: all welcome in consensus decision-making
8 p.m. Open Mic and Drama

Sunday 27th November:   
10 a.m. Fuel Poverty Workshop
11 a.m. What future for Higher Education? Panel discussion with activists, political reps & sixth-formers
1 p.m. Big Lunch! Open for all!
2 p.m. Academics on the crisis: Dr Brendan Burchell on unemployment & special guests
3.30-6.30 p.m. Workshops! Alternative Futures; Traveller Solidarity; Feminism; etc.
6.30pm-12am An evening of music, talks and poetry. Featuring”Songs in the Dark” open mic, a talk from Selma James, a reading by Cambridge poet J.H. Prynne, and performances by musicians visiting from other occupations

 

Friday 25th November: 

ALL DAY: Arts space against the cuts: banner-making and more.

12pm to 2pm: Women and the cuts workshop

3pm: UCU activist meeting, with a visit from VP of UCU Simon Renton

5pm: Occupation meeting — all welcome

7pm: Dinner and a movie: Weather Underground

 

 

Thursday 24th November: 

10am : Morning meeting

11am : Meeting on JCR motions regarding the occupation — this is important if you want support in dealing with discussions in your college about whether to support the occupation.

1.15pm: Lunch-time meeting — great if you can´t come in the morning.  Particularly focusing on political direction.

5.30pm: Protest against Michael Gove, The government minister for education, at the Law Faculty (http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=197486937001030)

8pm: Why We´re Striking: Cambridge Lecturers Speak Out, at Mong Hall, Sidney Sussex College (http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=233878596678690)

10pm: Acoustic open mic — music and poetry performance

    Strike on 7AM every day for the rest of the year, incl. Christmas and New Year’s Eve?
    I’d appreciate an updated website.
    I know, it takes time to update – but currently readers of your web site are wasting their time trying to find your upcoming events.
