Despite the University’s refusal to engage with the students and academics who are concerned about the current threats to higher education, the occupation has created a space to build a dynamic movement against cuts and fees.

Tomorrow we will be taking action (in accordance with ournon-violent principles) to take the campaign forwards and make our voices heard. Bring gowns, tunes, enthusiasm and a smile; come as early as possible.

Let’s end the term with a clear message to the university and the government on what students and academics think of cuts and fees: NO IFS NO BUTS, NO EDUCATION CUTS

I am from India and quite old. I have been yearning for this type of youthful action. I wish this happens everywhere through out the world in unision. This should not die down after the immediate purpose. Form some post educational org now itself..even while pursuing a carrer for livelihood, Youth have the great responsibility and opportunity to shape the New World..The World Social forum lacks this vision of an Action..Goal is clear..suitable action is waht is evading so far…..Priya Gopal can ably define it to you. Al the Best!
